For a period a period of six (6) months from July 28, 2000, the effective date of
this ordinance, no zoning approval, building, construction, or demolition permit or
license for the establishment or expansion of any commercial or industrial use or
development in the I1, I2, or I3 zoning districts within the study area shall be allowed
or granted by any city department. The city specifically reserves the right to extend
this ordinance for such additional periods as are necessary to complete the planning
study, not exceeding a total additional period of twenty-four (24) months.
This chapter is hereby reinstated and extended to July 1, 2001. (2000-Or-091, § 1,
