§ 229.130. Assessment of costs.

All costs and expenses incurred by the city in abating any of the nuisances set out in this chapter shall be reported to the city council. The city council may then adopt an assessment roll levying a special assessment upon the lands and premises involved which shall be transmitted to the county auditor and included with the next tax levy upon such lands and premises and collected in the manner provided by law for the levy and collection of other special assessments.
