Latest version.
  • The owner or person in charge and control of the property referred to in section 229.100, may within three (3) days after receiving said notice, make a written appeal to the commissioner of health for assistance in abating the nuisance. The commissioner of health may grant such a request insofar as can be done with the facilities and funds available, if the commissioner believes the circumstances are such that the best interests of the community and the city would be served.
