The superintendent of parks shall, upon a written application being presented and
upon a showing that the person so presenting the same is a fit and proper person to
operate a boat under (d) above, be authorized to issue such permits. Before the issuance
of such permit, the person applying therefor shall sign an application therefor stating
his name, age, residence and citizenship and shall agree in writing to operate said
boat in accordance with the laws of the United States, the State of Minnesota, and
this chapter, and a copy of this chapter shall be printed upon all such applications
as a part thereof. (Code 1960, As Amend., § 1034.120)
