§ 171.40. Authority to summon assistance.

Each police officer shall be active and vigilant in enforcing the provisions of this Code and all the ordinances of the city, and shall if necessary call to the officer's aid any person above the age of eighteen (18) years to assist therein; and no such person shall refuse to give assistance when so called upon.
