§ 171.10. Composition of department.

  • The police department shall consist of a chief of police, and as many additional police officers as the city council may from time to time by resolution authorize. The city council shall provide all buildings, facilities and equipment, and all other public property as may be necessary or deemed essential to the efficiency of said police force and department.
