(a) All firewood shall be advertised, offered for sale and sold only by measure, using
the term "cord" and fractional parts of a cord, except that wood, natural or processed,
offered for sale or sold in quantities less than three (3) cubic feet shall be sold
in packaged form and shall display the quantity in terms of weight or cubic feet and
fractions of cubic feet. Packaged firewood shall comply with all applicable provisions
of Chapter 152 relating to sale of commodities.
(b)
All coal, coke, lignite or briquets shall be advertised, offered for sale and sold
only by weight. In all contracts for the sale of such commodities the term "ton" shall
mean two thousand (2,000) pounds. (Code 1960, As Amend., § 833.030; 77-Or-074, § 3,
