§ 99.660. Inspections, violations.

  • The inspector shall be subject to the orders and directions of the city engineer. The inspector is authorized to enter any premises, subway or subway manhole in the city at any time during reasonable hours in the discharge of duties. Upon demand of said inspector, the owner or representative shall accompany the said inspector upon an inspection. The inspector shall inspect during progress of the work all outside, overhead and underground electric wires, poles, cables, conduits, fixtures and apparatus hereinafter designated as outside electrical installations, and report to the city engineer any violations of the provisions of this Code. The inspector shall notify the owners of such violations. The inspector shall examine all applications for permits and inspect all outside electrical installations, included under this Code, and shall report to the city engineer concerning the same for acceptance.
