§ 113.10. Permit required.

  • No person shall erect or construct a retaining wall which is not a part of a building and which is four (4) feet or more in height, without first obtaining a permit to do so from the building official. No permit shall be required for any such retaining wall less than four (4) feet in height. An applicant for the issuance of a permit may be required to furnish a plan or drawing showing the construction of the wall and containing such data as reasonably deemed necessary by the building official.
