§ 101.70. Permits.

  • (a) Any person, before beginning to construct, reconstruct, extend, alter or repair any plumbing work, or install any plumbing fixture, appliance or appurtenance, or connect any plumbing work with a cesspool or the sewerage system, shall first obtain a permit for doing so from the inspections division.

    (b)

    No person or persons shall make, or cause to be made, any change in the work for which a permit has been granted, without the consent of the building official.

    (c)

    Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Code to the contrary and where permitted by state law, permits may be issued to make repairs, additions, replacements and alterations to any plumbing or drainage work of any attached or detached single-family dwelling structure used exclusively for living purposes or any accessory buildings thereto provided that all such work in connection therewith shall be performed under the authorization of a permit obtained by the owner-occupant of said dwelling pursuant to section 89.30 of this Code.

    (d)
