Pursuant to Laws of Minnesota for 1987, Chapter 55 and the articles of incorporation and by-laws of the Greater Minneapolis Convention and Visitors Association, some of the members of the board of directors of the association may be appointed by the city and it is necessary to establish the procedure for appointing those city members.
