§ 26.40. Procedure.

Whenever any inspector shall discover any violation of this Code as enumerated in section 26.10, or as may be designated by court rule, such inspector may issue a tag to the person alleged to have committed the violation and such tag shall be in the form herein specified. Such tag shall be made out in quintuplicate. One copy thereof shall be issued to the person alleged to have committed the violation; one copy shall be filed with the department primarily responsible for the enforcement of the chapter of this Code alleged to have been violated; two (2) copies shall be filed with the ordinance violations bureau; and one copy shall be filed in the office of the city finance officer.
