§ 599.130. Planning director.

  • The planning director shall assist the commission in discharging its duties and shall have the following powers and duties in connection with the administration of this chapter:

    (1)

    To serve as staff to the heritage preservation commission.

    (2)

    To receive, review and process all complete applications for approvals.

    (3)

    To perform the administrative review of certificates of no change.

    (4)

    To perform the administrative review of demolition permits.

    (5)

    To prepare or cause to be prepared designation studies, conservation district plans, and design guidelines.

    (6)

    To identify historic resources.

    (7)

    To establish and administer rules and regulations relating to the administration of this chapter, including application forms.

    (8)

    To review and make recommendations on proposed amendments to this chapter.

    (9)

    To maintain all records which are a part of the administration of this chapter.

    (10)

    To take such other actions as reasonable and necessary for the administration and enforcement of this chapter.

    (11)

    To receive, review and process all complete applications for conservation district plans.

    (12)

    To perform the administrative review of conservation certificates.
