§ 427.260. Hauling metal shavings.

It is unlawful for any person, firm, partnership or corporation to haul or transport upon the streets any steel or other metal splinters, shavings or broken pieces unless the same are transported in such a manner as to prevent the spilling of such splinters, shavings or broken pieces upon any city street.

The prohibitions and penalties in this section shall rest equally upon either the owner or the driver of the vehicle involved. (Code 1960, As Amend., § 583.370)
