Latest version.
  • (a) Every application for an "on sale" wine license, including applications for renewal of existing licenses and change of ownership of existing licenses, and applications for expanded or diminished licensed premises, shall be made only upon forms furnished by the licensing official, and when completed by the applicant, shall be filed and a record of the same made therein. The application shall then be referred to the license inspector of the police department, who, upon having completed investigation thereof, shall direct the same to the licensing official.

    (b)

Any person desiring renewal of an "on sale" wine license shall make and file on or before sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of the license year a verified written application to the city council, through the licensing official in form as prescribed by the liquor control commission. If, in the judgment of the council, good and sufficient cause is shown by an applicant for failure to file the application for a license on or before sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of the license year, the council may, if the other provisions of this chapter are complied with, grant such application.
