§ 267.1870. License revocation or suspension.

  • (a) Any license issued under this article may be revoked in accordance with Section 16, Chapter 4 of the City Charter.

    (b)

    Conviction of the licensee or licensee's principal employees for a violation of Minnesota Statutes, Sections 617.291 through 617.297, or a conviction for a violation of this Code of Ordinances, section 385.130, shall constitute grounds for suspension or revocation of a theater license.

    (c)

    Conviction of the licensee, or licensee's principal employees of a felony or a gross misdemeanor involving moral turpitude shall be grounds for suspension or revocation of the theater license.

    (d)

    Advertising by the licensee on the exterior of a theater by means of any picture, photograph, drawing, or similar visual representation, or image of a person or portion of the human body which depicts nudity, sexual conduct, sexual excitement, or sado-masochistic abuse, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 617.292 on any theater shall constitute grounds for suspension or revocation of the theater license.
