§ 261.40. Prorating of fees.

  • (a) Whenever any license required under this Code is issued for less than a full year, the license fee shall be prorated as follows:

    Issued during first ¼ of license year ..... Full fee

    Issued during second ¼ of license year ..... ¾ fee

    Issued during third ¼ of license year ..... ½ fee

    Issued during fourth ¼ of license year ..... ¼ fee

    (b)

    Whenever any registration required pursuant to Title 3 is issued to a business or establishment that has opened within the current registration cycle the registration fee shall be prorated as follows:

    Issued during first ½ of registration year ..... Full fee

    Issued during second ½ of registration year ..... No fee

    (c)

    No license or registration fee shall be prorated to an amount less than a minimum amount as established in Appendix J, License Fee Schedule.
