§ 225.620. Buildings to be numbered.

(a) Owners, operators, or occupants of buildings containing dwelling units receiving solid waste collection from the city shall affix the street address number of such building in a manner and place in accordance with sections 244.970, 435.20 and 435.60 that is easily and readily discernible by collection crews.

(b)

The director of public works shall provide written notice to the taxpayer and to the utility bill payer of unnumbered buildings that unless numbered as described in paragraph (a) above within fourteen (14) days, the director of public works shall place numbers on the building.

(c)

The director of public works shall establish a schedule of charges for services provided in paragraph (b) above based on the cost of materials and providing such service. Service charges shall be added to the utility bill as provided in section 509.870.
