§ 219.300. Interruption of treatment to be reported.

  • If any attending physician or other person knows or has good reason to suspect that a person infected with a venereal disease is conducting himself or herself so as to expose other persons to infection, or is about to so conduct himself or herself, or if an infected person shall discontinue treatment while still able, in the judgment of the attending physician or other person, to transmit infection, said physician or other person shall notify the commissioner of health of the name and address of the diseased person and the essential facts of the case.
