§ 215.40. Tagging of polluted wells.

  • When the commissioner of health finds that water from any well is contaminated, polluted or otherwise unfit or unwholesome for drinking purposes, the commissioner shall affix or cause to be affixed a metallic tag to the pump or other water-drawing device connected with said well, having thereon an inscription substantially as follows: "Do not drink this water.
