No part of this chapter, designating particular parkways, or streets as one-way streets,
and requiring that all vehicles thereon be moved in one specific direction; or designating
any parkway, street or drive as a through parkway, street or drive and requiring that
all vehicles stop before entering or crossing the same, or designating any intersection
as a stop intersection and requiring all vehicles to stop at one or more entrances
to such intersection; or restricting the use of any parkways as authorized shall be
effective until signs giving notice of such traffic regulations are posted upon and
kept posted upon or at the entrance to the parkway, street or drive or part affected
thereof as may be most appropriate. (Code 1960, As Amend., § 1040.040)
