PB5-8. - No Vested Rights Intended.

Latest version.
  • The MPRB reserves the right to cancel any permit with or without cause. The MPRB shall give notice to the permit holder if a permit is cancelled. Proper notice shall include either verbal or written communication of cancellation to the permit holder. Upon receipt of notice, the permit is immediately revoked and cancelled. If a permit is cancelled without cause, the former permit holder may request, in writing, a partial refund of the permit fee. If refunded, the permit fee refund shall be that part of the permit fee reasonably attributable to the cancelled time on the permit. All rights to use said parkways and park roads terminate when the authorized permitted time expires. No private bus, truck, limousine, or trolley transportation person or company, by reason of the issuance of any permit, shall acquire any franchise or vested right to future use of parkways or park roads, or the issuance of future permits for such use. Nothing in this chapter shall limit the MPRB from granting or prohibiting any commercial use of a motor vehicle on the parkways or park roads. (Pk. Bd. Ord. 2007-102, § 1, 5-16-07; Pk. Bd. Ord. No. 2011-102, § 1, 10-5-11)
