No permit as provided for herein, shall be granted to any person for any purpose unless prior to the granting of the permit the person to whom it is granted shall agree in writing to indemnify and save the city harmless from any liability because of injury to person or property arising out of the activity or privilege for which the permit was issued, or caused by reason of the negligent, wrongful or unlawful act of any person to whom a permit is granted, or any person acting under permittee's control or with permittee's consent.
