  • No person shall give false information to the park and recreation board on any: application for employment; application to serve in any position, whether paid or unpaid, as a provider of children's services within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes Section 299C.61, subdivision 6; or application for permit. "False information" means misrepresentations or omissions of a material fact with the intent to deceive. At the direction of the superintendent, the park police department shall investigate violations of this section and verify any representations made by applications made by applicants regarding criminal history information.
