PB2-29. - Permits for curb cuts.

  • No person, without a permit from the park and recreation board, shall open any private driveway, private or public alley, or other entrance for the use of vehicles upon any parkway or boulevard without first obtaining a permit from the park and recreation board. Every such permit shall contain the following provisions which shall be assented to in writing by the applicant for such permit:

    "The Park and Recreation Board of the City of Minneapolis hereby reserves the right to alter or change the grade or alignment of its park or parkways or boulevard adjacent to said premises, and the applicant shall have no claim or demand against the said park and recreation board by reason of any such change or alteration."

    No such permit shall be granted until plans for the layout of the private property to be served by said opening, including the design of the structures thereon, the landscaping, the location and construction of said proposed driveway and various other matters pertaining to the improvement and use of the private property are submitted to and approved by the park and recreation board.
