§ 6.6. Parkways.

(a)

Jurisdiction. The Board has the same power and jurisdiction to establish, improve, modify, discontinue, or vacate parkways that the City has over City streets.

(b)

Special assessments. The Board may levy and collect assessments, in the same manner as the City Council levies and collects assessments, from property owners whose land the Board's improvements specially benefits.

(c)

Water mains and sewers. The City Council may lay water mains and sewers along or under parkways with the same power and jurisdiction that it has over City streets.
