§ 1. Meetings.

  • Committees generally meet during the two-week interim between regular meetings of the full Council, known as a "Council cycle." The dates and times for regular committee meetings shall be established by the Council President, a copy of which shall be filed with the City Clerk. All committee meetings shall be open and accessible to the public; provided, that a portion of any committee meeting may be closed for those purposes allowed under the Minnesota Open Meeting Law. A regular committee meeting may be cancelled or, when the regular Council cycle is insufficient to address committee business, a special meeting may be called by its chair, with the approval of the Council President and upon proper notice. At any special meeting, only those matters identified in the notice of such meeting may be considered.
